I wanted to share how much I enjoy living in my adopted home of Singapore. I relocated here in 2005 for a job position. Now married with children, and Co-Owner and Managing Director of Pearl Falco, I look at Singapore very differently after having lived here for over 15 years. I feel as if I have come to know Singapore as such an exceptional place.

International City – Singapore – Integrated Cultures with Many Different People from All Over the World

Singapore’s official languages are Chinese, Malay, Tamil as well as English. Today, with a population of approximately 5 million, I was surprised to learn what a young country Singapore actually is. Founded on August 9 1965, as an independent and sovereign democratic nation, Singapore has since blossomed into an international business and commerce center like no other.

Most multinational companies have regional headquarters in Singapore. Singapore’s average Per Capita GDP is among the highest in Asia, and Singapore serves as a focal point of southeast Asia, functioning as an entrepot trading hub of Asia.

No language barriers – English is taught throughout the primary and higher education system. Business friendly Singapore helps to facilitate setting up businesses, makes it easy to access other Asian countries, has lower taxation than its neighbors, and is one of the safest and cleanest city states in the world.

Since many different people from all over the world live in Singapore, I think of Singapore as a truly international culture where one can enjoy the best of all Asian as well as international cuisine served in cozy cafes.

Some think of Singapore’s climate as an eternal summer. You definitely will not need to bring a winter coat. Singapore, however, is blessed with water. With monsoon seasons from December to March and from June to September, so at the very least, don’t forget a raincoat. Tourists to Singapore consider March to May the best time to visit, a season of lighter rains and cooler temperatures.

Singapore is a superb destination for people of all ages. I have found Singapore to be a wonderful place to live and raise children. A clean and safe peninsula city with great schools and a wonderfully kind and friendly population.

When you visit Singapore, please make sure to taste local Asian cuisine like Chinese Seafood, Malay and Indian food. Definitely some of the best international cuisine in the world.

A wide range of accommodations to choose from, from boutique hotels to 5 star hotels in city areas and at beach resorts like Sentosa Island, from modern city hotels to old colonial style lodging.

And with Singapore as your point of departure hub, one can reach the rest of Asia fairly easily.

One of my favorite traditions that I brought with me from Pearl FALCO in Ise Shima Japan is definitely for the romantics among us. If you are fond of romantic surprises for your loved one, Pearl FALCO can clandestinely deliver luxury pearl jewelry to your hotel or any location in Singapore, with your special message. Imagine surprising your romantic partner at Gardens By the Bay, or Sentosa Beach at sunset to mark a special occasion in your lives?

Post Covid, Pearl Falco Is Very Much Looking Forward to Seeing All Of You in Singapore!
