Like all of us, there are some days when Maiko doubts her ability to overcome the many challenges of running a business. But over time, Maiko has become more resilient in adapting to the constant testing entailed, and believes that trying different approaches to problem solving can bring results for her team with what limited resources are available.
When Maiko was a college student, without technology as prevalent as it is today, Maiko backpacked extensively throughout Eurasia, becoming acquainted with different regions, and was afforded the chance to be able to learn so much about different communities and culture. While on the trail, every now and again, Maiko could feel herself embracing the coordination and interdependence of people and all life on earth. These memories helped Maiko gain a far deeper respect for life and the people of the world, and Maiko wishes to share that vision with all of us.
