Maiko Makito, Co Owner of Pearl FALCO was recently featured in one of Singapore’s most popular lifestyle Magazines, ‘A Magazine.’ Maiko wishes to personally thank the ‘A Magizine Team’ for the article. Without their support, this endeavor would be so much more challenging. Thank You A Magazine Team!
As we are all recovering from travel restrictions over the last year. All of us are intent on getting back to normal as soon as possible. In this article, Maiko shares her passion and mission as a business owner and leader during these challenging times.
Pearl FALCO, a company headquartered in Ise Shima Japan, the birthplace of today’s sustainable Akoya cultured pearl aquaculture, is on a mission to share the beauty of cultured pearls with the world. Pearl FALCO strives to be so much more than just a luxury pearl jewelry seller. Over the last several years, as Maiko has been managing 2 retail locations in Japan and 1 in Singapore, Maiko has come to better appreciate how pearl jewelry binds families through multiple generations, playing a role in making long cherished memories for people throughout the world. Pearl Jewelry is Forever.
The Pearl FALCO story becomes even more interesting. Unlike so many other concerns, the sale of luxury jewelry also allows Pearl FALCO to give back in a very unique way. Since the founding of the company over 30 years ago, Pearl FALCO has been actively supporting local communities and children throughout Asia. Maiko has a great passion for contributing to society at large, with programs such as Pearl FALCO’s “Pearl of Hope Project,” helping underserved children gain access to education through tuition assistance. Above and beyond taking the helm of her family’s business, one of Maiko’s ‘big dreams’ is to see that children throughout Asia have access to affordable education.
We hope you will consider joining us, learning to enjoy, “a life with pearls”
