jewelry-coordination
Jewelry is often considered a reflection of our personalities. The following are some jewelry coordination tips and information we at Pearl Falco like to share with our customers and clients. In order to achieve a more uniform coordination, we recommend thinking about the following elements and their interrelationships.
l

Material  Type of Material Used or Metal Setting
Color     Color of Stone or Pearl
Texture   Polished or Matte
Taste     Simple, Decorative, Etc

We like to think of the above elements as helpful highlights to help you consider what type of jewelry you will be wearing and how it will coordinate with your outfit. While it may not be necessary to combine all of these elements, they can help to clarify your thinking with what you are coordinating.

In our current culture, coordination and fashion is not so much about wearing a lot of jewelry. If you feel it’s “too much,” “too heavy,” or “too flashy,” it may be time to reduce some. More often than not, “less can be more.”

It has been our experience at Pearl Falco, sometimes necklaces together with brooches can be too much. If your earrings are large or flashy, it may be better to omit necklaces and pendants. If you’re wearing too many colors of gems or too much gold at once, it may be distracting. Once you have coordinated your items, we recommend taking a look in a mirror to check for balance.  At the end of the day, it is most important to wear jewelry that you enjoy and are comfortable with and demonstrates a positive synergistic reflection of who you are.
