Pearl FALCO was able to run another highly successful Pearl of HOPE Kickstarter Campaign in 2021, helping to raise additional funds for our Pearl of Hope Scholars. Thank You Singapore! What Pearl FALCO Hopes to Share with Singapore & Beyond
Aside from heirloom quality luxury pearl jewelry, I am happy to share my love & admiration for my hometown, Ise Shima Japan, the birthplace of cultured pearls, the Shinto Faith, and Ise Shima’s world famous female divers who still to this day dive to collect seafood off the coast.
While the Japanese people know Ise Shima well, my hometown of Ise Shima is not very well known at all outside of Japan, and I strive to share this appreciation with our customers here in Singapore.
In addition, one of the larger themes I wish to share with our customers is the impact of climate change on sustainable pearl cultivation. As we are now becoming more aware on an almost daily basis, climate change is bringing ever greater challenges to sustainable pearl cultivation and ecosystems worldwide, with Akoya pearl production down by 80% over the last 2 years alone. My hope is that by spreading greater awareness of the impacts of climate change, Pearl FALCO can help promote a larger collective message in the months and years ahead.
